Review: Sugarcult at Liberty Hall

After conserving their energy through So They Say, Maxeen and Halifax,
the crowd finally came to a rolling boil when Sugarcult hit the stage with
the title track from their new cd “Lights Out.” The set played like a
greatest hits album with relatively few new songs in the set. Lead singer
Tim preached to a pop punk soundtrack and the choir loved it. Showing that
they thoroughly enjoy their job, Sugarcult performed enthusiastically to the
sizable crowd of devotees. Making full use of computer programmed lights
and their super catchy catalogue Sugarcult did what they came to Lawrence to
do, rock.
