CINCO DE MAYO W/
::: Dubloadz :::
Dubloadz aka Dave Nardolilli is a producer who’s quickly proven himself a force to be reckoned with, shattering the idea of subgenres and turning the dubstep world upside down over the course of only a year. His sharp and hard hitting “Savage Wonk” style boasts some serious musicianship, and quickly grabbed the attention of a lot of the power players in the electronic music world. Determined to make his mark in the scene quickly, he showed the world how much can be accomplished in a short ammount of time. 2014 proved to be a successful first year with releases on SMOG, Rottun and Never Say Die as well as bookings across the globe. His high energy sets show his attention to detail and cover a spectrum influenced by everything from hip hop and funk to hardcore and metal. With support from 12th Planet, Datsik, Excision, Figure, Eptic, and many more, there’s no disputing that Dubloadz got that meat game on lock. “I can only hope to inspire people. I love what I do and I want people to realize they can make their dreams happen as well.”
::: Dirt Monkey :::
The term genre-bender gets tossed around a lot in music these days, especially in EDM. Few producers fully embody this phrase more than Boulder, CO’s Patrick, “Dirt Monkey” Megeath, however. This fifteen year veteran of the dance music scene has evolved his sound as a DJ and producer in a wide variety of bpms, tonalities, and contexts. He has collaborations with such diverse artists as Illenium, Jantsen, Savoy, Amp Live, Run DMT, JSTJR, Ruxell, Nathaniel Knows, IYFFE, and Tincup. There is no singular sub-genre that describes Dirt Monkey’s sound.
Perhaps this is what led him to found the groundbreaking record label, Kairos Audio, with his friend and production collaborator, Jantsen Robertson (Jantsen), a label that has quickly become known for an expectation-defying and captivating set of releases, including Dirt Monkey’s own “Chroma” album in September of this year and the smash “From the Back” with collaborator Nathaniel Knows in January 2016.
While cultivating new sounds with Kairos, Dirt Monkey has also cultivated a strong touring presence. He has commanded stages from Paris to Red Rocks and is a long time resident at on of the top clubs in the world, Beta Nightclub (Denver).
::: Esseks :::
Esseks (Sam Eckstein) is a Brooklyn based producer and visual artist. His music ranges all the bass-centric genres with a focus on the off-kilter. The diverse elements of his music are tied together with Esseks’ subtle but instantly recognizable sound. It is dark but in a playful sense. Cartoon Villain music you could say. He has built up a large catalog of music since his first release in 2012 and put out releases with Wakaan (AZ), Gravitas Recordings (TX), Foundations Recordings (CA), and Smokers Cough (NY) along with a number of self releases and collaborations with artists like Yheti, Space Jesus, GDP.
