A side project for Black Kids’ bassist Owen Holmes, Gospel Music is ready to release its debut LP, How To Get To Heaven From Jackskonville, FL. The lead single from the album, “This Town Doesn’t Have Enough Bars For Both Of Us,” premiered on Pitchfork last recently. “This Town…” is a catchy tune featuring Holmes’ baritone sing-talking in front of Madeline Long’s background vocals.
The new album will be released on October 25th. Listen to, and watch the video for, “This Town Doesn’t Have Enough Bars For Both Of Us.”
