New Music: M83

Two things: I love 80s music and I love 80s movies. Love them. I remember spending summer afternoons when I was ten watching Karate Kid on HBO and Aloha Summer (a very guilty pleasure and a film hardly anyone has heard of).

When I saw the cover to M83's Saturday=Youth album I flipped with excitement. Pretty in Pink/Sixteen Candles/Say Anything(?)/Karate Kid (isn't that supposed to be Johnny?).

I was glad to hear a couple of solid tracks in what is a very ambitious concept.
