The debut album fromm Science for Girls features an eclectic group of guest vocalists from NYC's indie music scene, in collaboration with songwriter and producer Darren Solomon.
Posted below is a track called Northern Lights. The music and lyrics of the song really take the listener on a journey. It's comforting.
Darren was nice enough to discuss it with us, "I used to work as a touring bass player -- Ray Charles & Barry Manilow were the two longest tours I did. I don't always scream it out, because I think it can skew how people hear my music. But the experience of touring, as much or more than the music I played, really did affect me. And the feeling of that song really comes from some great memories of the travel on the road."
