The Roseline
No Depression, one of the most well known magazines of alt-country, sums up the genre pretty well..."alternative-country music (whatever that is)".
Whatever that is, The Roseline sounds remarkably good playing it. Lead singer Colin Halliburton's melodic lyrics, along with Ehren Starks' keyboard right out of early 60s rock n' roll, add a bass, some drums, the special ingredient steel guitar...and, welp, you've just made Papa Parsons proud.
